Analogue 3D Console Release Delayed to July 2025

Analogue has once again delayed the release of its 3D console. The updated version of the Nintendo 64, priced at $249.99, is now set to ship by July 2025. This modernized N64 offers 4K output and Bluetooth controller support, bringing classic gaming to a new level.

Announced early last year, the console has been delayed multiple times, originally set for 2024, then pushed to early 2025, and now mid-2025. Analogue says it uses FPGA technology to fully support N64 cartridges from all regions.

Competition Emerges

Analogue now faces more competition as ModRetro, led by CEO Palmer Luckey, has teased its own N64 retro console. This comes after the launch of ModRetro’s first console, the Chromatic. Luckey even hinted on social media that customers might want to rethink their Analogue 3D pre-orders, saying, “Never too late to change your mind.”

Analogue is still offering full refunds for canceled pre-orders and assures customers with existing orders that no action is needed. A week before shipping, buyers will receive an email to confirm their delivery address.

Analogue says they are working hard to ship orders as soon as possible and appreciate customers’ patience during the long wait.
