Capcom is expanding its Monster Hunter series into mobile gaming through a collaboration with TiMi Studio. The new game, Monster Hunter Outlanders, combines open-world survival elements with the classic Monster Hunter experience. Players can go on adventures solo or join up with three other hunters for cooperative gameplay.
The game preserves essential Monster Hunter elements, exploration, hunting mechanics, and crafting systems, while introducing features optimized for mobile platforms. TiMi Studio, recognized for successful mobile titles Call of Duty: Mobile and Pokémon Unite, brings its mobile gaming expertise to this project.
This mobile release follows Monster Hunter’s global success after Monster Hunter World (2018) became Capcom’s top-selling title. The franchise has grown to include various adaptations, from Monster Hunter Rise to a Hollywood film. Capcom plans to release Monster Hunter Wilds in 2025.
While Monster Hunter Outlanders’ release date remains unannounced, Capcom plans multiple testing phases before the official launch. TiMi’s strong track record in mobile game development, combined with Monster Hunter’s established success on portable platforms, suggests this mobile adaptation will maintain the series’ high standards.
