Disney is releasing a new video game called “Disney Tron: Catalyst” in 2025. It’s the latest addition to their lineup and will take players into the digital world. This new game will be available on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
“Disney Tron: Catalyst” picks up where the 2023 puzzle game “Tron: Identity” left off, expanding the story of Arq Grid. Players will step into the shoes of Exo, a resilient program with an extraordinary ability to create time loops. The game challenges players to master Exo’s powers while battling against the Grid’s overlords and a menacing agent named Conn.
The gameplay features a mix of on-foot and Light Cycle combat, with missions designed to uncover the mysteries of the Grid and a phenomenon called the “Glitch.” As players progress, they’ll navigate complex factional conflicts and unravel the secrets of Arq Grid.
Disney’s Gaming Strategy
This new Tron game is part of Disney’s broader push to expand its presence in the video game industry. The company is leveraging its popular franchises to create immersive gaming experiences. Alongside “Disney Tron: Catalyst,” Disney has other high-profile games in development, including “Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra” and “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.”
The release of “Disney Tron: Catalyst” in 2025 will give both fans of the franchise and newcomers the opportunity to explore the neon-lit world of Tron. With its intriguing storyline and action-packed gameplay, this new title looks to be an exciting addition to Disney’s growing video game portfolio.
