EA Opens Battlefield Labs for Players to Test the Next Battlefield Game

EA has introduced “Battlefield Labs,” a new program where players can help test the next Battlefield game. If you’re in Europe or North America, you can sign up now. Those chosen will get early access to testing in the next few weeks.

Registration Process

Over 200,000 players have already signed up to test the game, showing huge interest in Battlefield Labs. EA made it clear that your place in the queue won’t affect your chances of being selected. The game is being developed by four major studios: Dice, the original creators; Criterion, known for racing games; Motive, the team behind Dead Space; and Ripple Effect, the studio that worked on Battlefield 2042’s Portal mode. Leading the project is Vince Zampella from Respawn Entertainment, bringing fresh direction to the franchise.

Game Features

The new Battlefield game will have both single-player and multiplayer modes. EA is using a testing approach similar to what they did with their Skate franchise and Project Rene from The Sims series. EA is running this program to make sure the new Battlefield game is polished and ready. They’re learning from the mistakes of Battlefield 2042, which didn’t live up to expectations. With Battlefield Labs, EA is involving players early to make sure the game meets community expectations. Several experienced studios are working together, bringing their skills to create a well-rounded experience for both single-player and multiplayer modes.
