The expansion for Diablo 4, Vessel of Hatred, is about to launch. This new content picks up where the main story left off, taking players to the familiar region of Nahantu. Our mission? To find Neyrelle, who’s falling deeper under Mephisto’s influence.
New Content and the Spiritborn Class
Vessel of Hatred introduces new challenges and enemies to face. But the real star of the show is the new Spiritborn class. This martial arts-styled warrior adds an exciting twist to the game. I had the chance to try it out, and it’s an absolute blast to play. The Spiritborn fits into the world of Nahantu while offering a new way to take down enemies and collect loot.
Release Time and Pre-load Information
The expansion releases on October 7 at 4pm PDT (7pm EDT). For those in other time zones, that’s 12am BST or 1am CEST on October 8. If you want to jump in right away, pre-loading is already available for console and BattleNet users. Steam users will need to wait until the official launch to download the update.
Blizzard has announced that Diablo 4 will be enhanced for PS5 Pro to deliver the best possible gaming experience.
Remember, you don’t need to have played the seasonal content to enjoy this expansion. Vessel of Hatred is designed to be accessible to all players, regardless of whether you’ve been actively playing or are returning after a break.
