Google just launched a new AI-powered shopping tool on Wednesday that makes finding clothes easier. Now, you can describe what you’re looking for in words, and the AI will show matching options. Plus, Google has improved its AR beauty and virtual try-on features, making online shopping even more interactive.
The feature, called “Vision Match,” is now available on mobile for shoppers in the U.S. Just describe the clothing you’re thinking of, and the AI will suggest the best matches you can buy.

To use this feature, just type your idea in the search bar and look for the “Can’t find it? Create it” prompt. You can also go to the left panel in the Shopping tab and select “Create & Shop.” Vision Match has been in testing since 2023.
Enhanced AR Beauty Features
Google has added a new update to its AR beauty feature, letting users try multiple makeup products at the same time. This week, mobile shoppers in the U.S. can virtually try on and buy lipsticks, mascaras, eyeshadows, and eyeliners from brands like E.L.F., Fenty, Glossier, and more.

To use this AR beauty feature, just search for something like “soft glam” on your phone. Then, tap “See the looks on you” and select “Try it on” to see how neutral eyeshadows, rosy blush, lip gloss, and other makeup products look on you.
Expanded Virtual Try-On Experience
Google’s virtual try-on, first launched in 2023, now lets shoppers see how pants and skirts from hundreds of brands look on real models in sizes XXS to XXL.
Since 2023, Google has been improving its Shopping tab with AI technology. Last year, they added AI summaries to search results, giving shoppers important details when researching products. For example, if you search for a party dress, Google will highlight key tips to help you make the best choice.
