New Xbox Controllers Coming Soon

Exciting new Xbox controllers are in the works. Along with the recently revealed DOOM: The Dark Ages limited edition versions, three more models are reportedly being developed for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles.

Currently, Xbox users mainly choose between the standard Xbox Wireless/Wired Controller and the premium Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. According to reliable Xbox leaker eXtas1s, Microsoft has filed patents for three new controller types, each bringing unique features to enhance gaming experiences.

Elite Controller 3 Upgrades

The upcoming Xbox Elite Controller 3 will reportedly deliver improved connection quality alongside enhanced feedback systems. Players can look forward to adjustable triggers with advanced haptic feedback, putting special emphasis on resistance features that create more immersive gameplay.

New Standard Controllers

The Controller 2 design includes an LED status bar built directly into the device, significantly improved Bluetooth connectivity, and direct xCloud connection capabilities designed to reduce latency issues during cloud gaming sessions.

The third controller, codenamed “Sebile,” introduces full haptic feedback throughout the device. It also features specialized vibration patterns that alert users to potential connection problems, making it easier to identify issues like bad connections or latency problems. A dedicated button for switching between Bluetooth and cloud gaming options rounds out this innovative design.

I should note that while these patents exist, there’s no guarantee all three controllers will be released simultaneously or even reach production. Microsoft might launch them separately or combine certain features into a single product. Xbox players already enjoy numerous controller options, but these new additions would certainly expand those choices even further.
