Sony has announced some changes to PlayStation Plus. Starting in January 2026, they will offer fewer PS4 games and focus more on adding PS5 games for subscribers.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can still play their PS4 games as long as they keep their subscription active. The Game Catalog will include PS4 titles until they are gradually removed in monthly updates.
Sony mentioned that some games playable on both PS4 and PS5 might still be included after the change. They also plan to add new PS5 games every month to give subscribers a better gaming experience.
In February, PlayStation Plus members get three fun games. They can play the action-packed heist game Payday 3, the humorous shooter High on Life, and the classic remake Pac-Man World: Re-Pac. These games will be available for download at the start of the month.
I know gamers want clear information about changes that affect their gaming options. From now on, the monthly game lineup will focus more on PS5 titles, which is a natural shift as gaming moves toward newer hardware.
