Genki, a well-known maker of gaming accessories, showed off its Nintendo Switch 2 gear at the CES tech event in Las Vegas. Genki has set up a sign-up page that shows images of the yet-to-be-announced Switch 2. A French tech site, Numerama, reported that Genki showed a mock-up of the Switch 2 at CES, which is said to be based on a real unit they have.
Design Features Align with Previous Leaks
The mock-up features magnetic Joy-Con controllers that detach smoothly from the main console body. The design includes a U-shaped kickstand, confirming earlier leaked information. The Joy-Cons come with an optical sensor that might let you use them like a mouse, plus a new “C” button. These features match many recent Switch 2 leaks.

Official Details
Nintendo hasn’t said anything official about the Switch 2 yet, but some industry experts believe it could be revealed sometime this month. What’s known so far is that the Switch 2 will work with current Switch games, keep supporting Nintendo accounts, and offer Nintendo Switch Online services. An official announcement is expected before March 2025. The price isn’t confirmed yet, but since the Switch OLED costs $349, that might give us an idea.
Genki seems pretty confident by showing off their Switch 2 accessories at CES, but gamers are still waiting for Nintendo to officially confirm the details. By getting ahead like this, Genki shows how much excitement there is around Nintendo’s upcoming console.
