Xbox Age of Mythology Remaster Lands on PS5 and Fans Are Excited

PS5 players are excited about Age of Mythology: Retold, an Xbox game that just arrived on the PlayStation Store. This strategy game is getting a lot of praise, and its release is part of Xbox’s plan to bring more of its games to different platforms.

Age of Mythology: Retold was released on September 4, 2024. It was developed by World’s Edge and Forgotten Empires, with Xbox Game Studios publishing it. This is a remastered version of the 2002 PC classic, featuring improved graphics and new gameplay features for today’s players.

Playing on the PS5 Pro: great graphics and frame rate and lots of fun! The interface takes a little while to get used to but it actually does a very good job.”

Age of Mythology: Retold takes players into a world where gods, monsters, and humans battle for power. The game offers a story-driven campaign, multiplayer modes for both teamwork and competition, and a new “Arena of the gods” mode. Players can control legendary creatures and use divine powers to win battles.

Age of Mythology: Retold has received good reviews, with an 83 rating on Metacritic for PC and 79 for Xbox Series X. PS5 players can buy it on the PlayStation Store for $29.99 (Standard Edition) or $49.99 (Premium Edition).

This release comes just before Forza Horizon 5 launches on PlayStation in April, bringing one of Xbox’s biggest franchises to PlayStation for the first time.
